A Tankful of Thoughts

Hmmm. It has been quite a while since I documented my adventures. I like geography so much that I love reading maps. I loved to travel to many places and get in touch with nature, history, people, and their culture. What is an adventure without a simple documentation: pictures and souvenirs. This would be my first and it would be some sort of a little guide footprint or logbook. From time to time the links would be updated when I have the time. Do I have the time? Field of Amaranths at Sirao Garden

Last October 2015 this place trended in social media sites in time for All Souls Day. Lots of people began to flock in this to take photos of what was dubbed as a 'Sea of Colors'. Me and colleagues got a chance to visit the place. When we got there, the flowers were not as tall as a few ago. Like most tourist spots, name signage has been added The owner of the farm decided that the garden conceptualization would be like the tulip farms in the Netherlands with the windmill trademark. Not to miss are the wooden slippers for pictorials with the plastic tulips. Here is a closer look of the colorful amaranths. In full bloom, the place is great for prenuptial photo shoots. Aside from the amaranths, other flowers are also grown in the area like, roses, asters, and daisies like this one. - END -
